WAZIRABAD - Three people were killed while nine others including one woman were injured in road accident in Wazirabad on Tuesday. A Rawalpindi-bound speedy wagon loaded with passengers tried to overtake a motorcycle but driver lost the control over the wagon and collided with Road divider with speed. As a result, two passengers including Ghulam Mustafa, a resident of Kkhayali Shah Pur Gujranwala and an unknown died on the spot while 10 other injured. All the injured were hospitalized in Wazirabad. Four seriously injured Muhammad Sagheer s/o Rehmat r/o Shiekhupura, Ramzan s/o Ilm Din r/o Sheikhupura, Shakeel s/o Arshad r/o Gujranwala and one unknown were shifted to Lahore and Gujranwala. Other injured including Iqbal s/o Inayat r/o Sangowali, Muqaddas Bibi, Farzand Ali, Dilawar, Muhammad Siddique of AJK and Muhammad Inayat were being provided medical treatment in THQ Hospital in Wazirabad. Later, one injured passenger succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to Lahore.
