ARIFWALA - The Additional District and Sessions court sentenced two women to five years in prison each in a narcotics case. As per detail, the police recovered 5-kg of Chars from the possession of Shamim Bibi, daughter of Lakha and Shamim Bibi, wife of Sardar, a resident of Village 81/Eb. The Ahmad Yar Police registered a case against both the accused. Additional District and Sessions Judge Tariq Mehmood Bajwah sentenced both the accused women to five years in prison each and fined them Rs50,000 each. Youth burns: A youth was burnt severely when a fire erupted following a collision between two motorcycles here on Tuesday.As per detail, two motorcycles collided at Thana Bazaar Arifwala. Following the accident a fire erupted in a motorcycle, burning badly a youth namely Abdul Hameed, son of Shafi, a resident of Village 65/Eb. The caused of the fire is said to be a cigarette being smoked by a bystander. The youth was rushed to hospital. Man rubbed: Three armed dacoits took away Rs2,35000 here the other day. As per detail, Khan Mohammad and Habib Ahmad were on way on a motorcycle SLD-3407 near Village 111/Eb in the remit of the Ahmad Yar Road Police. Meanwhile, three armed motorcyclists d stopped them. The culprits snatched Rs2,35000 from them and fled away. Girl kidnapped: Three persons kidnapped a young girl from her home here ther other day. The police have registered a case against the culprits. As per detail, Zubaida Bibi, sister of Nurullah, a resident of Village 52/EB, was alone at her home when Khadam Hussain, Noor Ahmad and Nasir, belonged to the same village abducted her. They took her to unknown place. Bike snatched:Three armed dacoits snatched a motorbike from a man here the other day. Reportedly, M Akram, was on way when three dacoit intercepted him. They snatched the motorcycle from him at gunpoint and fled away. The police have registered a case.
