Tremors shook Swat city and nearby areas on Sunday, causing fear among residents who rushed out of their homes seeking safety.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 4.7 on the Richter scale with a depth of 205 kilometers. Its epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush mountain range.
The tremors prompted widespread panic, with many residents reciting prayers as they evacuated buildings.
This follows a previous earthquake on April 26, which registered a magnitude of 5 in the same region.
