In a vibrant display of patriotism and solidarity, the Pakistani and Kashmiri community in Denmark held a grand event to celebrate the recent victory of the Pakistan Armed Forces against Indian aggression and to express unwavering support for the military.

The event was organised by Babar Khan, President of the EU-Pak Friendship Federation Denmark, along with Amir Mukhtar Naqvi, Acting President of Pakistan Civil Society Denmark, and Ch. Afzal of Dhal. The celebration drew men, women, and children from the Pakistani and Kashmiri diaspora, alongside prominent political, religious, business, and community leaders from across Denmark.

The Chief Guest was Dr. Chaudhry Pervaiz Iqbal Lohsar, Chairman of the EU-Pak Friendship Federation Europe and recipient of the Presidential Medal of Service. Mian Muneer also attended the event as a special guest. The occasion was marked by a cake-cutting ceremony and high-spirited celebrations.

Streets echoed with slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Long Live Pakistan Army,” accompanied by patriotic songs and traditional dances. Participants voiced strong support for Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and the Pakistan Air Force. The event also saw expressions of solidarity from members of the Danish public and other communities.

In a rare show of political unity abroad, members of PTI, PML-Q, PML-N, and PPP jointly attended the event, putting aside their differences to honour the nation’s defenders.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Lohsar lauded the bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces: “Our soldiers have responded to Indian aggression with unmatched courage a moment that will be remembered in golden words in the annals of our history.”

The celebration served as a powerful symbol of diaspora unity and national pride thousands of miles away from home.
