SIALKOT
The teenaged daughter of a local farmer was raped by a fiendish local in village Shah Gharib, Shakargarh on Saturday.
Reportedly, the 13-year-old girl (identity withheld) was on the way back home after attending school when the accused took her to a nearby deserted place where he criminally molested her. On hearing her hue and cry, some locals gathered there at which the accused fled away by threatening her with dire consequences.
The girl was admitted to Shakargarh Civil Hospital in critical condition. The Shah Gharib Police have registered a case.
Meanwhile, scores of locals staged a protest aginst the incident and demanded the police to take stern against the accused. They also demanded examplary punishment for the accused.
