US authorities have allowed Pakistani diplomats to meet the Pakistani scientist in US custody, Dr Aafia Siddiqui. When the diplomats visited Dr Aafia, she requested for a copy of the Quran, religiously appropriate food and assurances of a free trial. The Pakistan Foreign Office is trying to bring her to Pakistan so that she could have a fair trial in accordance with the international law.
