India to face Sri Lanka, Pakistan in World T20 warm-up matches

DUBAI - India will begin their ICC World Twenty20 campaign with a warm-up match against hosts Sri Lanka on September 15, followed by arch-rivals Pakistan on September 17 - both the matches scheduled in Colombo.
Sri Lanka will play their second warm-up match against the West Indies on September 13, defending champion England's would be up against Australia and Pakistan on September 17 and 19 September, respectively, says an ICC release on Saturday.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) Saturday announced the schedule of both men's and women's warm-up matches, which will be played in the lead up to the tournament, starting on September 18. The women's competition will begin on September 26.  The men's competition will be staged in Colombo, Hambantota and Pallekelle while the women's group stage will be played in Galle.
 However, Colombo alone will host the warm-up matches for both the men and women. The men's warm-up matches will be played from 13 to 17 September and women's matches on 22 and 23 September.
