PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar has said that they as a nation have been deeply shocked by the killing of innocent passengers of Gilgit-Baltistan-bound busses at Babusar Top.
He said indeed the joyous occasion of the ensuing Eidul Fitr for the countrymen in general and the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Fata in particular would be equally overshadowed by the shocks of the tragic incident.
Talking to the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Syed Mehdi Shah on telephone, the governor further said that the worst type of inhuman act of terrorism indeed spoke the cruel mindset of the responsible who could no more remain at large and would be brought to justice. He also requested him to convey deep sympathies on behalf of the people of the province and Fata, besides he himself to the bereaved families. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
Meanwhile, the governor also talked to the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal, Tahir Ragique Butt on telephone and strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Kamra. He also highly eulogised the timely and courageous response of the security forces to foil the cowardly act of terrorism. He expressed his deep sympathies with the bereaved families of the martyred soldiers and prayed for the eternal peace of the martyrs.
