RAHIM YAR KHAN - A man axed his two wives to death by declares them as “Kari” here on Saturday.
According to details, Safdar Ali, a resident of Mauza Jhullan, Jamal Deen Wali Sadiqabad doubted the character of his wives. He had refrained his wives from using cellphones at home.
On saturday, he found a cellphone being used by one of the women namely Jannat Bibi. Safdar turned red in anger and took up an axe for killing at which she started shouting for help. In the mean time his second wife came out from another room to save her. But Safdar killed them both with the axe. After the incident, the police reached the spot and arrested Safdar with the axe.
It is to be noted that over the past six months more than two dozens honour killing incidents have occurred in the district. The Police started investigation.
