ISLAMABAD - On the request of NDMA, the Ministry of Health has dispatched medical aid for flood victims in Gilgit-Baltistan on Monday. Essential medicines and medical supplies have been sent via a C-130 aircraft to the affected areas to provide emergency healthcare services. Health Minister Mustafa Kamal stated that the Ministry is committed to ensuring timely and effective medical assistance for flood victims. He added that the Ministry is in constant coordination with NDMA and the provincial govt to manage the ongoing emergency situation.
“We will take all possible measures to guarantee prompt and efficient medical support,” said the Minister.
He reaffirmed that the Ministry of Health stands with the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan during this difficult time.
