Islamabad - Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis, with new Minister in the chair, has decided to evolve a new strategy, which will focus on export of highly skilled labour force to Europe and Australia. New markets have been explored and ministry is working with different institutions to train the labour so that they can be exported to the continents including Australia and Europe for getting better rates, an official told The Nation on Wednesday. It is pertinent to mention here that, financial experts are predicting a rather gloomy picture of the countrys economy, and some officials have even gone as far as calling for an Economic emergency, Overseas Pakistanis have become the source of some much needed good news. Experts believe that export of skilled labour force to new international markets can earn the country a lot of remittance, which can help boost ailing economy. Data obtained from Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis indicates that remittances by Overseas Pakistanis are expected to cross a mammoth US $10 billion this year. This speaks volumes about their commitment towards their countrys economy.
