The CIA police claimed to have confiscated hundreds of litres of poisonous liquor and also arrested vintner red-handed.
CIA Police In-Charge Rehmat Ali Chattha while talking to the media here on Saturday said that the CIA Police, on a tip-off, carried out a raid near railway crossing gate in Azizabad and arrested Mushtaq Ahmad, son of Idress Kamboh, a resident of Chak 168/10R. He said that the police also recovered hundreds of litres of counterfeit liquor filed in branded bottles.
During preliminary investigation, the accused confessed that he prepared liquor and after filling in bottles of famous international companies, sale it in the market as imported.  The CIA In-charge pointed out that the liquor was injurious to health and its use can cause death.
