PAF chief visits residence of martyred PAF officer

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, visited the residence of Squadron Leader Usman Yousaf Shaheed in Rawalpindi to offer condolences and prayers for the fallen officer, who embraced martyrdom while defending an operational Pakistan Air Force (PAF) base during a recent enemy attack.

The Air Chief paid glowing tribute to Squadron Leader Usman Yousaf for his ultimate sacrifice, emphasizing that the courage and dedication of PAF martyrs will always be remembered with the highest regard by the nation.

He offered Fateha for the departed soul, praying for the elevation of the martyr’s rank in the hereafter and strength for the grieving family.

Later, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi to meet with injured personnel from the Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Army, and civilians wounded in the recent hostilities. He was briefed on their medical condition and personally interacted with the patients, commending their bravery and resilience.

He instructed hospital authorities to ensure the best possible medical treatment and administrative support for all those injured.

Reaffirming PAF’s commitment, the Air Chief stated that the force remains resolute in defending Pakistan’s airspace and will continue to uphold the legacy of courage and dedication exemplified by its personnel.
