Chief minister announces to upgrade Talagang Hospital.


LAHORE    -   Punjab Chief Min­ister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi on Sunday lashed out at the Pakistan Mus­lim League–Nawaz (PML-N) leadership, saying that the PML-N did injustice to the people by Punjab by stopping public projects. He said this during a meeting with the assembly members and ticket holders here at the Chief Minister’s of­fice. He said that the PML-N government damaged the welfare projects of his time in Punjab due to political ego.

The chief minister has also announced upgrading Talagang Hospital besides in­creasing the number of beds up to 100, adding that progress would also be seen in far-flung areas of Punjab. 

MPAs including Hafiz Ammar Yasir, Rasikh Elahi, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Dullah, Fozia Behram, Malik Fida Hus­sain, district president Pir Waqar Hussain, ticket holder from Sargodha Usama Mela and others were present during the meeting. Matters about the overall political situation and resolu­tion of problems of the constituencies came under discussion. The assembly members lauded the steps being taken by the Punjab government under the leadership of the CM Parvez Elahi to help the flood affectees.

Parvez emphasised that backward and the neglected areas would be given equal progress adding that the development projects would be chalked out in consul­tation with the assembly members.

He highlighted that a record number of development works were being done for the convenience of people during his previous tenure adding that the politics of opponents was only limited to display­ing pomp and show.

The CM underscored that even earlier, “We made a record of doing public ser­vice and Insha’Allah will set new public service records even now.”


Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi on Sunday expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in a traffic accident near Kallar Kahar. The chief minister ex­pressed heartfelt sympathy and condo­lence with the heirs of the deceased and directed the administration to provide best treatment facilities to the injured.

He further directed to take an indis­criminate legal action against the driver found responsible for committing neg­ligence. The CM said that the accused driver should be dealt strictly.
