ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed his deep grief over the incident of firing on Hamid Mir in Karachi. The Prime Minister, in a message, prayed for the health of Hamid Mir, a renowned journalist and senior anchor person of Geo News channel. Federal Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid also strongly condemned the attack. The minister prayed for early recovery of Hamid Mir and reiterated the government's commitment to take all steps for provision of security to the journalists so that they could perform their duties in accordance with their professional ethos.
