Ex-Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi has claimed that Federal Investigation Agencys (FIA) investigations will expose the culprits involved in Haj scam. He shared these views with media while attending the national assembly session outside the parliament on Monday. He said FIA team is currently scrutinizing the allotment record in Saudi Arabia and he believes as soon as the investigations are completed, actual culprits will be exposed. While further commenting, he said Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has also articulated his views about Saudi Riyal (SR) 1.6 million corruption and being a federal minister, he by no means misused his powers, Kazmi said. While responding to a question, he explained that ministers role is to serve as a link between parliament and ministry, and to monitor the accounts is none of his concerns. Hamid Saeed Kazmi said he sent the hiring committee to Saudi Arabia so as to curb the corruption.
