It is a common belief that Pakistani police invariably delays the lodging of an FIR purposely because too many FIRs keep them on their toes all the time. With the advancement in technology, things have gotten much easier. I believe now there is a need of computerizing the whole process of FIR lodging and complaint forwarding etc. This will not only ease the work load on the already underpowered police force, but will make the coordination much easier. With the recruitment of young police officers and provided they do their jobs honestly, the overall image of the police force might improve.
