An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 struck Swat and nearby areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday, causing residents to rush out of their homes in panic, reciting verses from the Holy Quran.

Fortunately, no casualties or property damage were reported in any part of Swat.

The National Seismic Monitoring Centre reported that the earthquake’s epicenter was located in the border region between Afghanistan and Tajikistan, with a recorded depth of 199 meters.
