A labourer received burn wounds when unknown assailants threw acid on him. According to police, unknown culprits came on motorcycle, knocked the door of a labourer Muhammad Akram 45, residing in Defence area of Lahore. As soon as Akram opened the door the accused threw acid on him and sped away on motorcycle. The victim received severe born wounds and was rushed to hospital for treatment. Muhammad Akram hailed from Vehari and was staying in Lahore to earn livelihood for his family. DIG Operations taking the notice of the incident has directed the Defence-B police to arrest the culprits as soon as possible.
