LAKKI MARWAT Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insafs local leader Ahmad Nawaz has called upon the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti to direct the quarters concerned of the provincial government to implement his orders regarding upgradation of Lakki city hospital. Talking to this correspondent on Saturday, he said that Mr Hoti had announced city hospitals up gradation during his visit to the district last year. The project was later included in the provincial annual developmental programme but work has not been initiated on it so far, he maintained. He said that the rulers should avoid making false promises and hollow announcement in public meetings. The delay in launching work on the project of city hospitals up gradation is enough to prove the seriousness of chief minister and lack of interest on his part to release funds for it, he told. Nawaz said that the flood affected families were waiting for the second installment of watan cards since the last several months. He told that the hopes the flood affected people had affixed with chief ministers visit to the district on Nov 16 regarding release of watan card installment dashed/ended with hopelessness and disappointment. Lakki police arrest PO Police on Saturday claimed arrest of a notorious proclaimed offender in Lakki Marwat. DPO Gulzar Ali Khan received a tip off that a proclaimed offender Tahir Salim who was wanted in a murder case had come to Lakki city to appear in examination under Allama Iqbal Open University. Upon that a police party of Lakki city police station headed by ASI Abdul Muneem Khan arrested the outlaw in a prompt action backed by commandos of Elite Force. The arrested outlaw Tahir Salim had reportedly killed a Bettanni tribal chief Malik Tilla Muhammad Khan in Tajori the last month.
