TIMERGARA     -    Insaf Teachers’ Association (ITA) district Dir Lower Chapter on Monday demanded the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government and higher authorities of the Elementary and Secondary Education (E&SE) Department to ensure the provision of textbooks to all the public sector schools in the province.

Talking to local journalists, the ITA district president Tahir Sarhadi said that government schools still lacked textbooks even though the session had started in August. He said that on one hand, the government was planning to end the session in March next year while on the other it had yet to provide textbooks to schools.

He said that majority of the students from grades 1st to 12th had no textbooks for some courses in the entire district.
