PESHAWAR     -    The provincial govern­ment has launched a mobile App for a survey of the hous­es destroyed in recent floods in the province.

The KP government has decided to pay a compensation of Rs400,000 each for a destroyed house and Rs160,000 for the partially destroyed house.

A spokesman for Provincial Disaster Management Au­thority said that the App has been developed by the KP IT Board. He said the survey had been launched in the flood-affected areas on September 15 and was being par­ticipated by personnel from the district administrations, communication and works, army, irrigation, tehsildar concerned, Education Monitoring Authority and Health Department.

The statement said the compensations for the de­stroyed houses would be paid through the Bank of Khy­ber, both via ATM cards and cheques.
