Man kills mother-in-law, sister-in-law over domestic dispute

BUREWALA    -   A man shot his mother-in-law and sister-in-law over a domestic dispute at Village 453/EB, in the premises of Sadar Burewala police station on Monday.

According to police sources, Amir Mughal, resident of the village, had dispute with his in-laws over some domes­tic issues.

On Monday, his mother-in-law Safia Bibi w/o Muhammad Akram and sister-in-law Maryam were coming to his home to discuss and resolve the issues. The ac­cused Amir opened fire and killed both of them and escaped from the scene. 

DSP Muhammad Was­eem Sial along with SHO Sadar Chaudhry Haq Nawaz reached the spot and shifted the bodies to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Burewala for medico-legal formali­ties. The police have started investigations.

FARMER KILLED IN ROAD ACCIDENT

A farmer was killed after the loader rick­shaw he was riding fell into a roadside ditch due to heavy load near Sheikh Faazil police sta­tion in suburbs of Bure­wala on Monday.

According to details, Ghafoor Afzal had hired a loader rickshaw from his village, Chak 84/eb, Sheikh Faazil, to trans­port his faulty Rotova­tor to some mechanic in Burewala city for repair. However, when the rickshaw reached near Sheikh Faazil po­lice station, it got off-balance due to heavy weight of the Rotova­tor and went rolling down the road into a ditch. The farmer died on the spot after be­ing crushed under the loaded rickshaw. The rickshaw driver sus­tained injuries and was shifted to hospital for treatment.

Sheikh Faazil po­lice have handed over the body of deceased farmer to his family and started further pro­ceedings.
