Bilawal to have foolproof security in Lahore

LAHORE - In response to a letter by PPP Punjab organisation seeking adequate security for Bilawal Bhutto on his arrival in Lahore this week, the Punjab government has assured that it would provide foolproof security to the PPP leader.
On the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab IGP on Sunday contacted Bilawal’s chief security officer to discuss the security details.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP’s Patron-in-Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are scheduled to visit Lahore by the end of this week and are likely to stay here for three weeks.
In what appears to be a sheer distrust on Punjab police, the PPP has reportedly sought deployment of policemen from Sindh in around Bilawal House for security purposes. It may be recalled that policemen from Sindh guarded the Bilawal House at Bahria Town during last visit of the former President to Lahore.
