A daytime curfew has been enforced for the second consecutive day in North Waziristan due to ongoing security threats, the district administration confirmed on Monday.

The curfew will remain in place from 6 am to 6 pm, during which all major roads in the region will be closed to traffic.

Authorities said the measure has been taken as a precautionary step in view of the current security situation. Residents have been urged to cooperate with law enforcement and use alternative routes where necessary.
