After watching several South Korean drama series, I noticed that mothers are portrayed as intelligent, caring, and capable—often balancing social life, family responsibilities, and business ventures.
In contrast, Pakistani dramas often depict mothers as weak, old, or villainous. Even when shown positively, their only role is to pray for the protagonist’s success—without demonstrating how they actively shape outcomes. Given the importance of mothers in our lives—as even highlighted in the Quran—I urge TV channels to portray mothers as strong, dignified, and positive role models, especially for young mothers seeking inspiration.
