ISLAMABAD - Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Thursday detained a dozen women belonging to Central Asian countries in a bid to trace and arrest two Uzbek women who had fled the Islamabad Airport without passing through immigration counter, a few days ago.
The FIA raided three addresses in the Sector F-10 Markaz in a bid to arrest the said women.
Judicial Magistrate Islamabad Amir Aziz sent these 12 women to Adiala Jail belonging to Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine were detained during the raids on a judicial remand for 14 days in the foreign act case.
According to the Deputy Director of FIA Nasrullah Gondal, the detained women hailed from Central Asian States and were involved in immoral activities.
According to sources, the visas of some women had expired and they were staying illegally in the city. They would be exiled after legal action.

Hani, who is a renowned human smuggler, was also arrested but with the help of some FIA officials she managed to escape from the seen. Hani has more than 10 luxury houses in the twin cities posh areas and some senior officials of FIA and police are providing shelter and full help to her business of immoral activities, the sources added.
The sources in Islamabad police said more than 50 clubs including Chinese massage centres are running the business of immoral activities in the capital city with the help of some corrupt officials of Islamabad police.
A senior official of Islamabad Police Jamil Hashmi while talking to The Nation said that on the directives of IGP the city will be made more secure, and directed SHOs to take the notables of the local communities on board regarding the group who is involved in running these clubs for immoral activities. He added the SHOs to launch a massive crackdown against those running gambling dens, those involved in immoral activities or selling narcotics. “People involved in such heinous crimes must be arrested,” he added.
