KARACHI- Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain today appealed to COAS General Raheel Sharif for a neutral investigation into the Baldia factory fire case.

According to our sources, Altaf Hussain asked General Raheel to constitute an investigative team comprising of military officers to investigate the incident. More than 259 factory workers lost their lives in the fire.

“Those responsible for the fire should be hanged at a special chowk,” Altaf said.

Rangers had placed the blame of the Baldia factory fire on MQM in a report submitted to the Sindh High Court. A local court also issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Investigating Officer for his failure to appear before the court during the hearing of the Baldia Town factory fire case today.
