Iran rebels execute kidnapped policemen: Arabiya TV

An Iranian Sunni Muslim rebel group claims to have executed two of 16 Iranian border police it says it kidnapped last week, Al-Arabiya television reported on Friday. The Dubai-based news channel aired a brief film showing two men blindfolded and kneeling in front of a masked armed man, and said they had subsequently been executed. The television said the victims, identified as an Iranian a commander and his deputy, had been shot, but it did not air the reported execution. A spokesman for the Jundallah (Soldiers of God) rebels said the men were killed in retaliation for the execution last week by Iranian authorities of two members of the group, Al-Arabiya added.
