ISLAMABAD- PTI Chairman Imran Khan today expressed concern over PIA off-loading a senior political leader Shaikh Rasheed from it's a flight to Toronto.
In a statement, Khan said Shaikh Rasheed had a valid Canadian visa, then why did PIA asserted that the Canadian and US authorities had not given security clearance to a national political leader from Pakistan, when visas had been issued to him already? Chairman PTI said, it was shameful how Pakistan"s mainstream political leaders were treated by countries like Canada and the USA. It was time to show reciprocity and meet out similar treatment to US and Canadian legislators and officials seeking to visit Pakistan. Reciprocity principle governs interstate relations and diplomacy and the government of Pakistan, must take up this case in which a national political leader has been deliberately insulted.
