MULTAN - Dolat Gate police have arrested an accused involved in the murder of a teenage boy and recovered weapon from his possession here on Tuesday. According to polices, 15-year-old M Arbi, resident of Hussain Agahi, had a dispute with his school fellow Subhan over some minor issues.
The accused Kaleem went to the house of M Arbi for taking revenge of Arbi’s fight with his son Subhan about one and a half months ago. After exchanging arguments, the accused Kaleem shot Arbi dead and managed to escape from the scene.
On Tuesday, a police team led by Station House Officer (SHO) M Saeed, arrested the accused during a raid in interior city.
Meanwhile, Mela police on Tuesday arrested a bike lifter and recovered two motorcycles from his possession in Sargodha. Police said the team conducted raid and arrested the accused who was identified as Adeel. Further investigation was underway.
Moreover, a boy was killed when his loaded rickshaw overturned near Tandlianwala, Faisalabad on Tuesday. Rescue-1122 said that the victim was identified as Tariq Yousaf, resident of r/o Mohallah Hussainabad. Rescue team handed over the body to the heirs after completing legal formalities.
15 CRIMINALS ARRESTED
District police on Tuesday arrested 15 criminals including four proclaimed offenders and recovered illegal weapons and narcotics from their possession.
Police said that the raiding team arrested 15 law breakers and recovered 6 pistols, a gun,30 litres of liqour and 585 grams hashish from them. The accused were identified as Faisal, Adil, Abid, Kashif, Aziz, Ali, Imtiaz, Dilawer, Hussain, Umair, Hamza, Amir, Aslam, Sultan and Mohsin. Cases were registered at concerned police stations.
Moreover, Factory area police on Tuesday arrested six gamblers and recovered stake money from their possession in Sargodha.
Police said that the team conducted raid at factory area park and nabbed six gamblers,besides recovering bet money amounting to Rs85,000 from them.
