The Met Office has advised the farmers to complete harvesting and threshing of wheat as early as possible, which will make possible timely sowing of Kharif crops, especially maize and cotton. There are also chances of light rain/drizzle at a few places in northern areas of the country, including agricultural plains of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northern areas of Punjab during last days of this month. However, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country during next few days and weather is expected to remain hot and dry in all parts of the country.
