Three people were deprived of cash as they came out from different banks the district on Wednesday.
In the first incident, shopkeeper Arshad had drawn Rs175,000 from a bank located on Civil Quarters road in city area. He was on his way to his business place on foot. Meanwhile, two unknown robbers on a bike waylaid him and deprived of the withdrawn cash on gun-point. City A Division police are looking into the mater.
The second incident took place near Nokhar in Farooqabad in which Fayaz Muhammad was deprived of cash Rs50,000 he withdrawn from a bank by two armed robbers. The third incident took place in Kot Abdul Maalik where two highwaymen stopped one Iftikhar Ahmad and looted the cash Rs20,000.
