wah cantt - Police authorities here on Thursday claimed to bust two different gangs involved in various dacoity, theft and motorcycle lifting cases.
Sub divisional Police officer Taxila circle DSP Sajid Gondal while talking to newsmen said that on a tip off, Wah Cantonment raided at outlaws hide out near Cantonment board ground and arrested four outlaws later identified as Syed Ali Haider, Nasir Khan, Subhan Ullah and Asmat Ullah and recovered weapons from their possession.
He said that another three member gang was busted by Wah Saddar Police after raiding their hideout near Nawababad and arrested three outlaws identified as Nadeem Ahmed, Shabbir Ahmed and Adnan Ali and recovered pistols and ammunition from their possession.
Gondal said that during preliminary interrogation, the accused of both gangs have confessed their involvement in different cases of dacoity, theft and motorcycle lifting in twin cities of Taxila and Wah.
He said police has registered different cases against them and efforts are being made to recover the looted booty.
