Like other fields, our tax system is cumbersome, complex and difficult for taxpayers.

In other countries, tax can be deposited in any bank from any part of the region. The tax submission form is so complex as it can not be submitted without a lawyer who knows the nitty-gritty of law.

The government claims to have introduced a simple tax submission system but it’s all contrary to fact. The tax form should also be in local language and people should be allowed to submit in their language for the benefit of masses. Translation in provincial language will be helpful and motivate taxpayers.

I request Chairman FBR to pay heed to my request and make CNIC number as NTN.
