LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday has directed that austerity should be observed in all laptop distribution ceremonies and said these functions should be simple but impressive.
He said these functions were held in honour of the girl and boy students selected on merit and the same students and their parents were VIP guests in these ceremonies, whom Punjab government was giving these laptops as a fruit of their hard work. The CM said along with the children, this opportunity should also be made memorable and minimum possible government expenditures should incurred in this regard.
