LAHORE (APP) - Federal ministries of Finance, Economic Affairs, Production, Industries and Commerce have sought proposals from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) in connection with forthcoming national annual budget 2011-2012. FPCCI President Senator Haji Ghulam Ali told on Friday that the relevant federal ministries, on the directive of the Prime Minister, have asked the federation to submit viable suggestions and proposals for consideration before the presentation of annual budget in the National Assembly. He said that all the affiliated chambers and trade bodies across the country have been asked in this regard to send their solid proposals to federation till first week of next month. VP SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pakistan chapter, veteran trade leader Iftikhar Ali Malik who is also former president FPCCI and Co-Chairman of businessman penal enjoying majority in federation told APP that FPCCI will finalise its budget proposals for the next fiscal year in the light of suggestions of the affiliated chambers.
