Call for relief operation from KP to Karachi

KARACHI - Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan on Sunday called on the nation to come forward for the support of flood victims. Speaking media persons at Karachi Airport and inaugurating the relief camp of Imran Khan and MKR Foundation, he said the government did not appear to lead the people in dealing with one of the worst natural catastrophe of this magnitude. Talking about the flood victims, Khan urged the people to constitute teams and leave for affected areas. He said that his joint venture with the foundation would be continued until the complete rehabilitation of the flood victims. He underlined the need to start the relief operation from Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa then Punjab and Sindh flood affected areas. He appealed to the philanthropists and overseas Pakistanis to come forward for the relief of the flood affected people. To a question, the PTI chief said that law and order situation would remain fragile in Karachi unless the city was cleansed of weapons.
