MULTAN-Anti-Terrorism Court approved the bail before arrest for plea of 18 accused including Billu Butt in Multan today.

A case had been filed against 18 accused and 50 unknown people under the terrorism act in the wake of attacking Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mahmood Qureshi's residence in Multan 3 days ago.

Billu Butt and other 17 suspects were brought before Anti-terrorism Court and their lawyer Sheikh Fahim filed a petition for bail before arrest. The court has accepted the plea till September 4.

When the accused Billu Butt left the court with his companions, supporters of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) showered petals on them. Talking to journalists, Butt said that they would not let Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri to derail democracy.
