MIRPUR (AJK)-The Azad Jammu & Kashmir observed Day of Condemnation to express resentment against the recent statements of Indian Prime Minister Narrinder Moodi whereby he confessed to his country’s involvement in Balochistan, GB and AJK.

People from all walks of life thronged streets in all small and major cities including the capital city Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Bagh, Rawalakot and Kotli to condemn India for her nefarious designs against Pakistan as found through the recent statements of the Indian Prime Minister Moodi.

At the mammoth rallies, the protesters condemn the atrocities being unleashed on innocent and unarmed Kashmir and termed the targeting of women and children as war crimes. They demanded that global community must take serious exception to the Indian brutalities and gross violation of human rights at the hands occupied forces.

In Mirpur city MLA Ch Muhammad Saeed, Divisional Commissioner Raja Amjad Pervez Ali Khan, Chairman National Events Organizing Committee Ch Amjad Iqbal, President District Bar Association Raja Zulfiqar Ahmed, Presidents of local units of various political, social, traders, journalists and other organisations led the rally.

The biggest rally in this connection organised by Jammu Kashmir Liberation Cell, marched toward Chokothi near Line of Control (LOC) from Muzaffarabad. Holding placards and banners inscribed with anti-India and pro-freedom slogans, the demonstrators chanted vociferous slogans against Modi and Indian forces deployed in Kashmir.

They also torched Indian flag and effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Indian Army Chief and puppet chief minister of occupied Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti.

Speaking on the occasion earlier, Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan strongly condemned Indian Prime Minister’s statements.

He said now when Modi has confessed that India is involved in fanning and orchestrating terrorism in Balochistan and others parts of Pakistan, India should be declared as terrorist state.

Terming Indian Prime Minister’s claim that people from AJK and GB sent him messages of gratitude, the speakers said Kashmiris on both sides of LoC consider India as enemy because of ill- treatment of Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir. “How Kashmiris can thank India when their daughters and sons are being slaughters by Modi’s forces and their sisters are raped”, he said.

Ghulam Muhammad Safi of APHC and minister for education barrister Iftikhar Gillani also addressed the participants of the rally.
