LAHORE - Punjab Food Authority yesterday sealed Nairang Art Gallery’s cafe for using rotten vegetables in making food items.

The raid was conducted by PFA’s Data Ganj Baksh and Shalimar Town teams. The cafe was also sealed having improper storage facility at cafe’s freezers.

The PFA officials also sealed Phaje Siri Paye located at Jail Road for not maintaining cleanliness in Kitchen’s premises. The eatery was not also not had worker’s medicals cards.

Also, in Wagah Town, the food authority sealed several eateries including Nosahi Qadri Milk and Falooda Shop for not having the food license and milk samples were shifted to laboratory.

Mashallah Milk Shop and Ayubia Milk Shop were sealed for not having food license in Gulberg Town premises. In Ravi Town, PFA sealed Akram Bodi milk shop in Taxalli Gate, and Harmeen milk shop was sealed in Bhatti Gate.

 

E-STAMP PAPERS: Lahore DCO Capt (r) Muhammad Usman inaugurated E-stamp papers in a ceremony held at Town Hall yesterday.

The DCO said the service will curb the practice of fake stamp papers being used in real estate property business, benefiting the citizens of Lahore.

He termed infuriation of e-stamp papers ‘historic’. The e-stamp paper service is already launched in 10 districts of Punjab.

According to details, two types of stamps will be available including Judicial and Non-Judicial stamps. Judicial Stamps used in relation to the administration of justice in courts and non-Judicial Stamps used on documents related to the transfer of property, commercial agreements.
