KARACHI - Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal yesterday lashed out at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain for making provocative speeches at his party’s hunger-strike camp in Karachi and agitating the workers to hit the streets.

Addressing an emergency press conference at his party headquarter, Kamal alleged that the MQM chief was working on agenda Indian RAW.

“Altaf is provoking people here to go for violence,” he said, adding that his actions were defaming Pakistan, especially Mohajirs, across the world.

“His today`s speech and attack on the media houses were made to harass India. The MQM chief takes money from India to create unrest in county and spoke against the heads of various institutions,” said Kamal.

Calling Muttahida chief a ‘coward’, he blamed Karachi unrest on Altaf Hussain.

“Altaf is responsible for the unfortunate incident took place in city.”

He said the MQM chief always done politics on dead bodies. He asked the MQM workers and supporters to abandon Altaf Hussain for the sake of Mohajir community and Pakistan.

Kamal added that people making cry about the so-called mandate in Karachi were actually working against the country. so far no action has been taken against the MQM chief despite strong evidence while the people those were listening Altaf`s speeches were being arrested.

Talking about the today`s violence incident in Karachi, he said Altaf Hussain have to face humiliation and events that unfolded today were also a challenge for MQM senior deputy convener Dr Farooq Sattar. He said that PSP believes in freedom of expression and attacks on media houses in Karachi are a condemnable act.
