ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said the federal government will fully cooperate with Sindh government in order to maintain peace in Karachi.
The prime minister expressed these views while chairing a high-level meeting. Lt-Gen (retired) Naseer Janjua briefed the prime minister on a meeting of the NAP implementation committee that was held Monday.
Adviser on National Security Lt-Gen (retired) Naseer Janjua also briefed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on various tasks that had been given to the relevant institutions.
It was decided in the meeting that Pakistan's interests, integrity and security will be protected at all costs.
The prime minister also lauded Sindh Rangers for maintaining law and order in Karachi. The participants of the meeting agreed on the point that no one should be allowed to disturb the peace of the city.
