PESHAWAR:- Counter terrorism department of police arrested a wanted terrorist and recovered five kilogram bomb from his possession at ring road area on Monday. CTD sources said that the arrested person was identified as Mohammad Naeem, son of Wali Khan, resident of Ali Khail Qazi Kalay. The alleged terrorist was affiliated with defunct militant outfit Lashkar-e-Islam. After initial interrogation, the accused confessed his involvment in number of terrorist activities including attack on armed forces and destroying public schools.–Staff Reporter

Meanwhile police arrested a person impersonating himself as additional secretary home department who was deceiving people by making fake arms license and fake appointment letters by taking huge amount of money. He was identified as Amjad Ali, son of Khanzada while using name of additional secretary home Amjad Sadozai. Police recovered fake documents, arms licences, pistols and other SIM cards from his possession. Police registered an FIR under 419 and 420 of CRPC.
