RAWALPINDI  - Rawalpindi police have arrested three persons for supplying fake medicines.
Police upon receiving a tip off arrested three men Nadeem Akhtar (Bakra Mandi), Shakir Hassan (Marir Hassan) and Muzammil Butt (Adiala road) for supplying counterfeit  medicines to various medical stores of the city. The police recovered Rs 100,000 worth of counterfeit medicines from them.
The arrested used to prepare fake medicines but labeled them with original medicine named and sold them to different pharmacies on retail price.
Police have registered the case and started thorough investigation.
