LAHORE - Bounce Basketball Club and Banuria Basketball Club carved out convincing victories in the 16th Quaid-e-Azam Gold Cup Basketball Tournament 2021 at International Abdul Nasser Basketball Court Aram Bagh, Karachi. According to KBBA President GM Khan, Bounce Club defeated Karachi Colts Basketball Club by 44-35 in the first match of the day. Mohsin Zia (13), Mohammad Mubashir (11) and Haider Khan (8) played well from the winning team while Sameer Saleem (10) and Sameer Rafique (10) did well from the losing club. In the second match, Banuria Basketball Club defeated Civil Tigers Basketball Club by 42-30. Syed Muhammad (16), Jamshed Mullah (8) and Moaz Zafar (8) were key contributors from the winning club while the contribution from losing club came from M Moaz (10) and Mazhar Ali (8) and Hafeez Sohail (8). Zafar Iqbal, Amir Sharif, Amir Ghias and Naeem Ahmed performed the duties of match referees while the technical officers were Zaeema Khatun, Michael Turner, Raj Kumar Lakhwani and Mumtaz Ahmed.
