Johnny Depp bought girlfriend Amber Heard a $40,000 gift because she complained she’s been terribly lonely because he’s spent so much time away from her promoting his new movie, The Lone Ranger.
Depp apparently got Amber a beautiful diamond and emerald-encrusted platinum brooch that had once belonged to European royalty.
“Johnny set up a romantic dinner and put the brooch into a red balloon, a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “Some guys just have the cool to know that sometimes, love does mean saying, ‘I’m sorry!’”
Depp ended his 14-year relationship with Vanessa Paradis last summer “The last couple years have been a bit bumpy,” he said adding, “At times, certainly unpleasant, but that’s the nature of break-ups, I guess, especially when there are kiddies involved.” Meanwhile, Paradis has begged Depp not to marry Heard
“Vanessa doesn’t care for Amber at all,” said a source.“She’s convinced that Amber’s trying to get her hooks into Johnny and his money by getting him to propose.
“But Vanessa doesn’t believe it’s going to last, and that’s why she’s against Johnny marrying Amber.
