LAHORE - MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain has stated that members of the Army are part of the 98 per cent oppressed people and has invited them for carrying out joint efforts to bring a revolution for changing the lives of the have-nots. He expressed these views while addressing the party leaders and workers via telephone from London on Tuesday night in Lahore at the inaugural ceremony of partys new office at Muslim Town to be called as MQM Punjab House. MQM leaders including Raza Haroon, Mustafa Kamal, Nasreen Jalil, Iftikhar Randhawa and others took part in the opening ceremony of the new party office. Altaf Hussain said that looted money lying in foreign banks accounts should be brought back, while the plunderers of national wealth should not be allowed to return to country. He said that Dr. Aafia Siddiqui was awarded sentence of 85 years without committing any crime, while the persons who were in the business of killing people are set free. Altaf claimed that Punjab was under the siege of 'wicked and cunning people, who he alleged were habitual of selling national honour and integrity. Altaf Hussain said that MQMs democracy did not base on the principles of those politicians who had get their loans writen off. Claiming MQMs ideology similar to Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Quaid-i-Azam, he said that the ideology of his party had reached Punjab and there would a greater awakening in the province that would be cherished by the entire world. He said that freeing the country from looters and plunderers was the prime target of the MQM, while he made all efforts to achieve this goal. Altaf asked the people of Punjab to initiate practical steps for ending injustices against them.
