'Unlock WTO difficulties for Pakistan

LONDON (APP) - The British Muslim member of European Parliament Sajjad Karim has underscored the importance of unlocking World Trade Organisation difficulties to ease EU trade assistance for Pakistan. He said in a statement Tuesday that whilst trade measures to assist Pakistan in the aftermath of floods have passed the European Parliament last week significant blockages still stand in the way within the World Trade Organisation. Having closely engineered matters through the European Parliament, Karim who is also the Chair of the Friends of Pakistan Group has now taken matters to Prime Minister David Cameron to help unlock remaining difficulties. Following his meeting with British Prime Minister, he stated: This whole exercise within the European Union has been British lead throughout. Now we will engage those countries presenting difficulties at a World Trade Organisationlevel. We will engage with everyone necessary and do all in our power to deliver this package.
