ISLAMABAD - Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) Rawalpindi Bench President Sardar Abdul Razziq Advocate said that former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif is convicted and an absconder of Pakistani courts and his speech at Asma Jahangir moot is also not appreciable.
“The speech of lawyer Ali Ahmed Kurd was also irresponsible,” he said.
The association is going to hold a national Kashmir conference on November 27 and no wanted person will be allowed to address the conference, he added.
He said this at a press conference here on Monday. LHCBA Secretary Shahid Ali Shehzad Bhatti, Additional Women Secretary Rohma Qureshi were also accompanying him on the occasion.
Sardar Razziq said that no leader of any political party had delivered his/her speech at the Asma Jahangir conference. Even PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was not allowed to give a speech on video link. “Inviting PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif to deliver his speech in the moot was a well thought conspiracy and pre-planned,” he alleged. Sardar Abdul Razziq said LHCBA will organize a national Kashmir conference on November 27 that would be chaired by President Azad and Jammu Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry. The conference would also be addressed by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Hussain Chaudhry, ex-premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former Chairman of Senate Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, President Supreme Court Bar Association Ahsan Bhon and Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan, the Kashmiri leader, leaders of Jamaat e Islami, Hurriyet Conference and other political parties, he said.
